What’s new at Sushilla Jewellery.
That’s a big question..
Since my last jewellery blog, I’ve been very busy, but I would like to concentrate on just two pieces here.
The first is something I had made for me while I was in India earlier this year. It’s a simple yet pretty 18ct gold disc necklace set with tanzanite and white diamonds. For me, picking the stones was incredibly hard with so many to choose from. I nearly picked pink tourmalines but then there’s aquamarine, or green garnets…for me the list just goes on.
This necklace is one that I have worn daily since it was made. I have had a number of lovely compliments and comments. With some people asking me to make one for them. So while I will not be putting this into formal production, I am happy to discuss commissions with anyone who is interested.
Now for the all important details..
The disc measures 1.8mm across, the chain length is 40cm with a 4cm extension. The price is £1350.
However, and this is where I thinking it gets exciting, you can pick the stones that you would like us to use
The disc can also be larger and the chain longer. I’m putting this out there now, because I think this could make a very special Christmas or Birthday present. The perfect special jewellery present. The necklace is handmade in our workshop and we would need six weeks to handcraft for you.
